Welcome to The Sovereignty of God!
I am follower of Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of my faith, a wife and a mother! I'm grateful for the gift of salvation and knowing he has chosen me!
What is the Sovereignty of God? He is the Creator of Heaven and Earth (Genesis 1), He rules supreme over dominions and authorities as it was all created through Him. He is Sovereign because all things were made and came in existence through Him (John 1:1-4 AMP).
Colossians 1:16 NKJV “For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.”
This website is not to discuss the definition of The Sovereignty of God, but to provide an insight into someone who allows/submits themselves to the Lord to be Sovereign over one’s life and for us all to understand the characteristics of our Sovereign God.
I don’t always get it right! And you’ll find a lot in both the blogs and vlogs they are a catalogue of dialogues with the Lord, events and just downloads from Him whilst reading His Word (the Bible). However, I hope as you read this you’ll see why he is the Lord over my life - because I am nothing without Him; because I desperately need him in every area in my life. And I want the Lord to reveal every crevice in my heart that has not been submitted to Him. I want him to show me the idols that I still hold onto. I’m not talking about the big things either, I’m talking about the hidden things that I don’t even know that is there, I’m talking about living holy for my Lord and Savior. Why? Because he is sovereign and his love is all I want!
Psalms 139: 1 - 3 “O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways.” NKJV
I feel compelled to write and speak about the love and passion I have when speaking about God, or giving my testimony or simply just writing something when reading his word. I don’t know where this will lead me but I know I have a desire to compile what I am learning and share with you. Proverbs 16:3 NKJV “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”
Both blogs and vlogs will be a heading of something I have learned; may be accounts of my life, others will just simply be downloads and dialogues with God.
So join me on my new journey of blogging and vlogging where I will give a real insight into the dialogue I have with my maker and hopefully, will answer any questions you have in your walk with the Lord.
If you do not know the Lord, I pray this will be a blessing to you, will give you an understanding of who God is and you will want to come to know the Lord for your self!
